Abstract

The text reviews Discursive Forms and Non-Forms: An Approach to the History of the Identity of Printed Materials. Mexico: Universidad Iberoamericana, 2021. This book is closely related to its predecessor, Lexicon of Discursive Forms Cultivated by the Society of Jesus, published in 2018 in digital format and in 2019 in print. Relating the content of both publications is fundamental to understanding and appreciating their contributions, as well as to recognizing that what began as a methodological category is, in reality, a potential framework for analyzing the structure, circulation, and enduring presence of printed materials.
